My toddler loved it! She watched the whole DVD three times yesterday.
She would chuckle every time the donkey talked and grimace every time Balaam would strike the donkey on the behind. This of course provoked many questions from her and that's a good thing! First off, let me just say this book deserves more than 5 stars! My 5 year old HAD a favorite bible out of the 3 kids bibles she has. She really loved her bible and it would honestly take alot to top that favorite bible.

The DVD is fantastically done, my 5 year old would rather watch it again than watch nickelodeon! Personally, the only fault I can find with the DVD is the narrator's voice is not the perfect choice in my opinion, but its really not that First off, let me just say this book deserves more than 5 stars! Personally, the only fault I can find with the DVD is the narrator's voice is not the perfect choice in my opinion, but its really not that bad.
I'd still give the narrator 9 out of The bible stories in the book are typical of what would be found in a story bible for an older toddler or preschooler. But what I really loved about the Ultimate Bible is that there is a little blurb at the end of each couple pages with thought provoking questions and topics to further discuss with your child.
None of her other bibles have this. The combination of the great DVDs and hardcover book makes this a must have in my opinion. I know I will be purchasing more copies to give as gifts! Oct 05, Krista rated it it was ok. When I first opened up the book my first thought was how cute the illustrations were.
I knew that my daughter Julianna age 4 would like it. This book is geared toward very young children as the stories are very short in length. There are 40 stories in total. The stories are all adapted from the Bible. There is a DVD that come with the book that contains animated versions of the stories from the book. It runs 60 minutes in length. There was one story in the book and DVD that bothered me a bit because of my beliefs it was the story of Adam and Eve. The story was portrayed with a "ssssneaky snake. My daughter said she liked the story of Eve with the snake the best, so then I had to discuss with her about the snake etc..
Other then this it is a really cute book. It is small enough for little hands to carry and look at. Mar 28, Sandra Stiles rated it it was amazing Shelves: children , christian. The Read and Share Toddler Bible is a great gift for that toddler in your life.

Thomas Nelson has created a children's Bible that has over Bible accounts written in story format based on the International Children's Bible. The illustrations are bright and attention capturing while remaining accurate to Bible times. I like the format and really have enjoyed using the questions to start good conversations with my 4 and 6-year-olds.
While, I personally would not use that as a Bible for my child, we do enjoy using it as a devotional book or for general reading. It is a good way to read Bible stories to young children ages 1 to 6. Toddlers and pre-schoolers will love this bright colorful illustrated Bible story book. There are 40 Bible stories along with a minute DVD of 14 of the more popular Bible stories animated. Stories range from creation and into the New Testament. In fact, this would have been a five-star review, but I find the illustrations a tad off-putting, as they seem cartoonish, considering the subjects. However, I would agree that a pre-schooler may feel differently about them! Jul 23, Jhunnelle rated it it was amazing. My daughters ages 12 and 29 months love this book, everyday we're reading the whole book before they go to bed.
